Car Collector FAQ:

Q: I have been with the same insurance for 2 decades and I want to participate in the program but do not want to change provider, can it work?

A: Yes, your policy remains the same, with the same policy number, history and, great rates and perks.

Q: I am not sure I clearly understand how I can donate money to charity through my insurance contract?

A: Yes you can. As a licensed agent in the continental USA, we work with most insurance carriers and receive commissions from the insurance companies. As collectors, car enthusiasts, and philanthropists, we have decided to turn our commissions to the American Concours Foundation on all of our collector car program. Your commitment helps make a difference, one dollar at a time.

Q: OK, but am I going to pay more for my insurance?

A: No you won't. The insurance company rates are exactly the same and very often we can negotiate discounts for you. Ask us for a reference.

Q: I have six cars and only use one as my daily driver, can my other cars qualify under the collector car policy?

A: Yes, as long as you are not using any of your collector cars as a daily driver, a commuter car or running a wedding service with them, your car may qualify.

Q: I have a total value on my cars estimated at $150,000 but I only carry $50,000 in agreed value because it's cheaper, is it a good idea?

A: No, this is not a good idea. Collector car insurance rates are very reasonable and you need to carry accurate coverage for your cars. Don't cheat yourself, contact us and let us negotiate a good discount for you.

Q: my friends and I have decided to go to the track and take our cars on the circuit, am I covered?

A: No, unless you have a specific endorsement, your classic car policy will not cover you or your friends driving on the track.

Q: I am not sure how much my cars are really worth and if I can do anything about my retirement, and succession planning.  I have not registered them and nobody knows about them, shall I stay like that?

A: No, our team of experts will help you cover all aspects of car collecting including retirement and succession planning. The first consultation is free, then once you've learned a lot more, the decision is yours. We are yet to see a disappointed client and our reference list grows by the week.
